Workshop 3

31 March 2004 - The Princes Hall, Aldershot, Hampshire.

At this workshop we looked at the trends, barriers and opportunities of different waste streams in Hampshire and debated with over 30 experts who were present the long-term issues for sustainable material resource use. By the end of the day we had examined ways of changing minds and practices by using material resources more efficiently and minimising wastage at all stages of the process chain. We also investigated how best we can maximise the recycling and recovery process of individual material resource streams.
Stakeholders were also given the opportunity to sign up to being part of the development of the individual resource groups (details below).
